Terms of Service

What governs your use of the Service — accounts, subscriptions, your uploaded content, and what happens if something goes wrong.

Draft — not reviewed by a lawyer

This document was written by checking what the software actually does, not copied from a template. It is a starting point, not a finished legal instrument, and it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Some sections contain bracketed placeholders (such as [ENTITY NAME] or [JURISDICTION]) that this deployment's operator has not yet filled in.

Draft prepared: 2026-08-24.

This document is published in English only. The text below is not yet available in a reviewed translation, so every language on this site shows the same English wording until a professional translation is commissioned.

Agreement to these Terms

By creating an account, joining a league, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Where this deployment is self-hosted by a third party, that party — not the authors of this document — is the operator these Terms refer to.

Effective date: 2026-10-12. This date is also the Terms version the app records when you accept them.

What the Service is

The Service is a subscription application for running a sim-racing league: season and calendar planning, race-weekend results, driver and team rosters, stewarding (penalties, protests), driver ratings, and ingestion of race telemetry captured from the game session. Each league is isolated from every other league.

The Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or produced in partnership with any racing game publisher, sanctioning body, or real-world racing series. It is independent software that reads telemetry a player's own game session produces.

Accounts

An account is created with an email and password, or by signing in with Discord. One account can belong to more than one league. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

Whether creating a new league is open to the public on a given deployment is an operator-controlled setting, on by default. Where it is off, only an existing super admin can create a new league, and joining an existing league requires an invite from that league's admin.

You can delete your own account from Account → Delete account. Deletion anonymizes rather than erases, and is blocked while you are the only owner of a league or started one with an active paid plan — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what deletion and removal from a league do and do not erase.

Subscriptions and billing

Every new league starts with a 30-day trial of the League plan, managed by the app itself: no card is needed. When the trial ends the league falls back to the free plan with no data loss — paid features lock, and nothing already entered is deleted.

Paid plans are billed through Stripe, monthly, or yearly where the deployment offers a yearly price for that plan. A yearly plan is paid in advance for the whole year and renews for another year unless cancelled. Checkout and payment are handled entirely by Stripe; we do not receive or store your card number. If a payment fails, the subscription stays active while Stripe retries it; if Stripe ends the subscription, the league returns to the free plan.

Refunds and cancellation for the subscription product are covered in the Refund Policy. Entry fees or prize pools that league members arrange between themselves are not part of the Service and are entirely outside these Terms.

Your content and uploaded telemetry

League members upload race telemetry captured from their own game sessions, and enter roster, results and stewarding data by hand. You retain your own rights in what you upload; you grant the operator a license to store, process and display it as part of operating the Service for your league. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of what you upload.

Race results shown while a session is live or newly ingested are provisional; a league's final, post-penalty standings are a separate, explicitly finalized view. Do not treat provisional data as the official record of a race.

Acceptable use

You must not attempt to access another league's data or defeat the isolation and permission controls the Service relies on, use the Service to distribute malware, spam or unlawful content, abuse the Discord, webhook, email or push-notification integrations to reach people outside your own league, or attempt to interfere with the Service's availability or security.

A league admin or the operator may suspend or remove an account or a league for a clear violation of this section.

Third-party integrations

The Service relies on third-party services: Cloudflare and the hosting provider (Microsoft Azure) for delivery and infrastructure; Stripe for payments; Discord for login and, where configured, announcements, direct messages, protest threads, recruiting posts, scheduled events and role sync; GitHub (the in-app feedback you send becomes an issue in the operator's tracker); Twitch for embedded streams and videos; outbound webhooks and API keys a league admin configures; an SMTP provider of the operator's choosing for transactional email; and your browser's own push service if you opt into notifications. See the Privacy Policy for what each one receives.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. A league admin can remove you from a league. An operator can soft-delete, restore, or permanently purge a league; a purge is irreversible.

We may suspend or terminate access for a violation of the acceptable-use section above, non-payment on a configured paid plan, or as required by law.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, except where the law of the applicable jurisdiction does not allow such exclusions.

Nothing in the Service constitutes advice on tax, gambling or gaming regulation for any entry-fee or prize arrangement a league runs independently of the Service.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by [JURISDICTION] law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. When a change needs your agreement, the app shows the updated Terms and asks you to accept them before you keep using the Service — using the Service is not treated as accepting. If you do not want to accept, you can sign out, or delete your account from the account page (Account → Delete account).

Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], except where local consumer-protection law requires otherwise. Questions about these Terms: [CONTACT EMAIL].
